I can play Tidal-playlists with upplay 1.2.11, but searching Tidal gives the error: "Service login or communication failure".
On the server "systemctl status upmpdcli" gives the error:
CMDTALK: tidal-app.py: processmessage: processor raised: [local variable 'searchresults' referenced before assignment]

Hi,

I think that this is an upmpdcli issue. My Tidal subscription expired, so I have not tested this for quite a long time... Could you please check that you have the latest upmpdcli running on the renderer (1.2.15), then replace /usr/share/upmpdcli/cdplugins/tidal/tidal-app.py with the current git version: https://opensourceprojects.eu/p/upmpdcli/code/ci/0c5a03da3d4fd5d5c45edef54224cb56eca12d30/tree/src/mediaserver/cdplugins/tidal/tidal-app.py

  Thanks for the quick reply! It seems that the problem is indeed fixed with v1.2.15 -- the current Volumio apparently is still running 1.2.12. Sorry for the noise.

This is certainly not noise. Glad that 1.2.15 fixes it. Could you give a try to the modified file anyway, just to make sure that it does not break things back ?
