In Ubuntu 17.10, once the command to install upplay is executed I try to run upplay and get the message: "symbol lookup error: upplay: undefined symbol: _ZN10UPnPClient13UPnPDirObject7nullstrB5cxx11E".
I used the PPA repositories.

    Is this an update ? Maybe there is a bug in the versions dependancies. Please try to reinstall libupnpp4:
    sudo apt install --reinstall libupnpp4

      I had same error as Iannis.
      Upplay is already the newest version (1.2.11-1~ppa2~artful1) (Installed using apt).
      Upplay ceased to run after a recent ubuntu 17.10 update.
      Tried reinstalling libupnpp4 but fault remains.
      Tried reinstalling upplay but fault remains.

    I'm trying to reproduce this, no success.

    What architecture are you using (i386, amd64...) and what libupnpp version ?

    dpkg -l | grep libupnpp
