T2.4 - T2.5 Telco December 7th 2012 (12:00-13:00 CET)
Approach:
In T2.4, AMBIE presented an approach for T2.4 and T2.5 that was circulated in the consortium before the telco. The approach for T2.5 proposed by FOKUS is available since the previous WP2 telco at: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1GKVEyWcO57SAlYAVi_oBy9XOW_RRDNzQWQ0-DicHuFE/edit
Discussion:
- It was clarified that User Stories will reflect the OPENi requirements and are part of T2.5 that is also responsible for the story mapping, the backlog creation and the specification of the OPENi subsystems (architecture).
- The role of T2.4 is critical to elaborate on the OPENi vision, to proceed with a detailed analysis of the 3 pilot cases (led by AMBIE, VELTI and BETAPOND), and extract a generic scenario of the OPENi platform usage from the end-user and developer perspectives. The generic usage scenario could integrate more than one smaller scenarios covering several aspects and actors of OPENi. D2.4 needs to ensure a common understanding of the OPENi pilot cases and the platform and deliver it to T2.5. The description of the pilot cases that appeared in the DoW is already 1 year old and needs to be updated and expanded to reflect both the expectations and the application of the OPENi approach.
- In the Gantt, T2.5 may start a month earlier from T2.4, but T2.4 finishes earlier and needs to provide high-level inputs to T2.5.
Next steps in preparation of the Athens meeting:
- T2.4 needs to provide a template how to describe the pilot case and provide the initial descriptions for the 3 pilot cases (in slides), outlining different systems and actors, in order to trigger the discussion and gather feedback and thoughts during the brainstorming session. It also needs to be discussed how we will transition from the specific pilot cases to a generic one (and the several smaller ones it can integrate) – an initial approach should be presented in the meeting.
- T2.5 needs to prepare a presentation of 2-3 User Stories on one of the pilot cases (or even better for the generic use of the platform) to be used as examples for the brainstorming session.
