WP2 Telco November 30th 2012 (13:30-14:30 CET)
WP2 Status in all Tasks:
- T2.1 / D2.1 was presented by NTUA and proceeds according to plan (although with a slight detail since the list of the selected services sent by NTUA on 20/11 has not been checked by all partners yet):
- All partners need to provide feedback and comments to the list of services available at: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AuAIOUgr4Z-RdHdhUXVnb19iU3JDNFN0bG9MTHlLREE by Monday 3/12 morning.
- Especially the use case partners (VELTI, BETAPOND and AMBIE) need to check the list to ensure that the services selected cover their needs.
- Of course, the analysis of these services for D2.1 does not imply that everything will be implemented in the OPENi API Framework, but it aims at: (a) inspiring the use cases, (b) analyzing the services we envisage to eventually proceed in the implementation, (c) identifying the functionality of the generic OPENi APIs.
- Assignments between NTUA, TSSG and LOGICA will follow for the analysis of the services based on the template prepared by NTUA. Proposal to be sent by NTUA on 3/12 and will be discussed via email (and brief telco).
- 1st draft of D2.1 will be circulated by 11/12 eob in order to be discussed in the meeting in Athens.
- All partners need to provide feedback and comments to the list of services available at: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AuAIOUgr4Z-RdHdhUXVnb19iU3JDNFN0bG9MTHlLREE by Monday 3/12 morning.
- T2.2 / D2.2 was presented by TSSG and proceeds according to plan:
- All partners need to provide feedback and comments to the cloudlet definition by Wednesday 5/12.
- The glossary of terms prepared in the context of T2.2 will be complemented by the glossary of DoW terms prepared before the kick-off meeting by George and by relevant work by the rest of the WP2 tasks. It will be uploaded in a relevant section in the OPENi website.
- 1st draft of D2.1 will be circulated by 11/12 eob in order to be discussed in the meeting in Athens.
- T2.3 / D2.3 was presented by LOGICA and is currently behind schedule:
- ToC was circulated by LOGICA on 30/11. All partners should send their comments asap. (Note from previous WP2 telco: Emphasis to be put on providing summary tables and figures that provide in a visual way the evaluation of approaches / technologies / etc. found in the state-of-the art rather than mere text analyzing in depth each approach.)
- Assignments between NTUA and LOGICA need to be discussed asap in a telco.
- 1st draft of D2.1 will be circulated by 11/12 eob in order to be discussed in the meeting in Athens.
- T2.4 / D2.4 was presented by AMBIE and T2.5 / D2.5 was presented by FOKUS.
- Currently, the approach presented for T2.4 presents significant overlaps with T2.5. It should present the high-level user stories rather than diving into details which is part of T2.5.
- A redefined approach with examples how the use cases will be described (as FOKUS did for the user stories, backlog, etc.) will be sent by AMBIE by 5/12 eob.
- A telco between T2.4 and T2.5 will be arranged by 7/12 to discuss how the tasks will be aligned to avoid duplicate work among the partners and ensure the maximum added value for the project.
- In the Athens meeting, brainstorming sessions for both tasks will take place.
- ToC for both D2.4 and D2.5 to be circulated by 11/12 eob.
- All tasks should start working on Redmine and Gitlab to increase collaboration if they do not already have done so.
