Progress

Last week, Claudia wrote to Eric and Sinead, in order to clarify the content for the WP5 deliverables.
This is still a pending action point.

• Biometric SE

An open source is being used. At this time, one person can be recognized in the PC from thier photos, but still not in Android.
This is a quite initial version.

• Health SE

The REST API is available.
We can retrieve the HL7 from local storage and post information as well.
The plan is having a very first version for both SE by the end of the month.

• Recommender SE

They are working on the API for places recommendation.
The cloudlet integration will not be for the first prototype.
A generic query for aggregated data from the cloudlet is on progress.

• Advertising SE

Timos reports that they have a good user interface for the first prototype.
Keep on working in the algorithms.

• Timeline SE

Not worked the last week on this due to other WPs deliverables.
They are working in the SE specification.
The selected languaje is java.
They have a cloudlet emulation.
Next week they will start with the Timeline.

• Analitycs SE

They have evaluated MongoDB but have found CouchBase suits better to their needs.
There is a CouchBase plugin for Hadoop.
They hopefully have a first version of code for next week.

Next steps

A timeplan for deliverables will be set for next Wednesday.
