Progress

This is the first weekly call.
We will meet every Wednesday at 15:00 CET in order to comment work progress, issues, discussions, etc.
Each responsible will give a summary about status and work plans.
Separate calls for each SE will be arranged if necessary.

  • Biometric SE

Due to staff issues, there is no much progress on this component.
For the first prototype we are trying the identification for Android.
At this time, we only need client part for the authentication.

  • Health SE

They have to study the ontology provided by Michael in order to include the activity object.
HAPI API is being analized.

  • Recommender SE

They are modelling location and place categories.
They are putting all together and guess to have a document in two weeks.
No big problems are found by the time being.

  • Advertising SE

Two points:
Finalize algorithms for the collection of user information and its storage. This is supposed to be in one or two weeks.
Have an overview of the visualization part of the SE for monitoring and managing audience (two weeks)

  • Analitycs SE

No much progress due to long dependencies with WP4.
The indexing approach is being finalized (guess tomorrow)
There will be an update for the next week.
There are security concerns.

  • Timeline SE

Ambiesense late connection.
Claudia summarizes the call progress.
Hans summarizes topics discussed in London.

Next steps

We need to write a report for the 1st prototype: how SEs work.
In WP3 SE were described at a very high level. We need deeper info for SEs.
Each responsible will provide 3 pages describing their SE in detail.

Proposal: take Timos’ document and update it for using for SEs.

CGI will circulate the draft document.

Sinead asks for other way communication, in order to have the possibility for sharing slides.
Philip proposes ‘anymeeting’ and Michael proposes Skype if no other possibility.
