I installed allura in ubuntu machine.created chroot for scm hosting.Evrything is working fine when the auth.method =local in development.ini file.If i change authentication method to "ldap",getting an internal server error.Please help me in fixing this

Without some further logs it might be hard for me to offer any assistance. Can you get some error messages from paster?

When you enable the ldap auth backend some features will not work (or will work differently). If you check Allura/lib/plugin.py you can see that the LDAP backend does not support some operations.

In any case you can always post an email at the allura mailing lists or check the docs at docs/scm_host.rst.

Can't say I am familiar with any of those error messages.

1. Seems like a generic error getting the list of endpoints
2. I really don't know about solr, our setup never had any issues with solr

The only piece of info I find familiar (and relating to LDAP) is this line

In the version of allura we are running the LDAP auth backend did not have the user_project_shortname() function (Allura/allura/lib/plugin.py
) which caused allura to throw in some NotImplemented errors.

Does this happen whenever you try to add a wiki page? Or does it also happen in other situations, like simply accessing the user pages /u/username?

It happens whenever i access user pages.I fixed the solr errors by changing the solrconfig file.Please help me out in fixing this ldap backend errors.I am unable to register a user and login.

while running paster setup-app development.ini getting attribute errors as below:
AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute '_id'

ERROR [allura.model.project] userstats is not available
how can i fix this errors??
