E.g. on https://opensourceprojects.eu/p/osp/tickets/, one additional column for displaying the creator of the ticket would be useful.

This is definitely possible, you need to go into the admin page and enable the column i.e.
1. Go to Admin
2. Select the tools page on the left men
3. On the ticket tool press **Field Management**
4. The list of columns should be at the end - just enable "ticket creator"
I've just enabled this for this issue tracker. Would this work for you?
