Can you clarify this? Are you trying to create two projects with the same name, or delete and then recreate?

The default behaviour when deleting a project is to keep it hidden, that is why the project name is still not available.

I'll have a look at how to trigger actual project deletion.

We could add a dynamic component to the project ID when marking as deleted:
E.x., ${RANDOM}${DELIMITER}proj-identifier

If the project is activated the prefix is removed.
