It would be good to be able to store which projects are forks of which other projects. This also relates to the branches issue. You could say that a project with different urls which point to branches of another project is a "fork". By keeping the meta data of which projects are forks of which other projects we can allow for easy comparison between the two and avoid unneccesary clutter in the UI of many similar projects (i.e. on github).
