We created a platform-extension for registering IWorkingCopyCreators. For git, svn, mercurial, cvs, implementations of this interface implement the way a working copy for a specific revision can be obtained. The source code metric providers depend on for each Vcs system to have an extension for this extension point.

    Currently we support this for SVN and GIT using the SVN and GIT commandline tools. The reason is that the SVNkit API hangs on checkout and the JGit Api we have not figured out yet.
