#34 PDF forcing existing stripped index to become unstripped?

Recoll 1.23.7 + Xapian 1.4.5
Ubuntu 16.04.4 LTS
kernel 4.13.0-36-generic
Python 2.7.12

With a local recoll.conf used by recollindex of:

    indexStripChars = 1
    nocjk = 1

If the attached Wiki.pdf is added to the directory scanned by recollindex, it appears to force the index which was previously a stripped one to (presumably) become unstripped.

So subsequently trying to add it as an external index in recoll then gives:

    Cant add index with different case/diacritics stripping option

    Thanks for reporting this. I think that it's already fixed in the master branch. I just cherry-picked / pushed the same change to RECOLL_1_23_MAINT. Please confirm that this fixes your issue, when you have a moment.
