pleas make it possible to close recoll window on user-defined shortcut - I'd like to close the window with escape key once not needed

It appears that the standard Linux shortcut to minimize a window is Ct+Alt+D, it may depend on the type of desktop, and it can generally customized. Ctl+q will exit recoll, and Ctl+w will close most auxiliary windows (previews etc.).
