Problem: the filename in the list of results is incorrect. Recoll correctly finds the file I'm looking and lists it correctly in the path, but the main filename listed in bold is wrong. The incorrect filename is from a part of the directory tree that recoll isn't even supposed to be searching.
I set up a folder with only four files in it, and set the path to that folder as the only path in recoll>preferences>index configuration>global parameters>top directories.
Then I did file>"rebuild index".

The path is correct
file:///media/tommy/working_drive/working-folder/test-for-recoll/antihistamine-benadryl.odt
But template-my-notes is NOT one of the files in 'test-for-recoll'. It is a file under file:///media/tommy/working_drive/working-folder/

I apologize. This is not a bug.
That field in the results is actually displaying the file's 'title'.
So for example in an odt file the title can be found under LibreWriter>File>properties>Description>Title.
