The PI should have an option (parameter in the webservice method) that indicates whether the dependency reasoning should be skipped (which is useful for demonstration purposes, to speed up the process).
In addition, there should be an option to limit the number of alternatives to a certain value.
Ideally, the current web service method would be overloaded with a new method providing these two parameters.

2014-06-18Method added which additionally takes those two settings as input.
The settings also can be provided by the configuration file on the server (see README). Server side configuration will be considered when using the original method.
