With version 1.3.0pre, upmpdcli doesn’t show up as selectable renderer in Lumin anymore. When Reverting back to 1.2.16 it shows up again.

Kind regards,
Eric

Thanks for reporting this. I had not tried with Lumin. I have no idea why this is the case, and it seems to be the only control point for which there is a problem, so there is little I can do, this looks like a Lumin issue.

A lumincompat flag was added. It seems that there is something in the openhome Credentials implementation in upmpdcli which Lumin does not like, but I could not find what. So the lumincompat flag turns off the Credentials service (-> no Tidal/Qobuz logins from the Lumin app, the services can still be accessed through the upmpdcli media server).

Any chance you could officially release builds for version 1.3.0, now that this issue is closed?

    Thanks

    Hi,

I just released 1.3.0 ! It needed a bit more testing, but it seems ok now. Set lumincompat=1 if you want to use it with Lumin.

Thanks for releasing 1.3.0 - though was actually after the binary packages (for Raspbian Jessie & Stretch)!

Having said that, I might give building it for myself a go - though it would have to be on the RPi itself as I have no other Linux box & currently no time to mess around with setting up a Linux dev machine with cross compiler, etc.

I'll release binary packages after a reasonable amount of time, in hope that somebody will give the release a try. The problem is that once the packages are on the repo, people will be automatically updated, so it's better if problems are detected before this happens.

Actually, I could easily build jessie or stretch packages for you to test ? Do you prefer Jessie or Stretch ?

About building: it's very ennoying (slow) on an rpi1, and quite feasible on an rpi3.

IGNORE THIS, it only works when there is a source package, which does not exist currently (wrote too fast...):
(There is a sample build sequence here: https://www.lesbonscomptes.com/upmpdcli/upmpdcli-debian-build.txt)

Ok it would be great if you could provide the binary packages for me to test - I'd prefer Stretch.

    Many thanks.
