The vf-OS Enablers (VE) are a set of solutions to be developed in the scope of vf-OS. The need for the development of VE is based on the industrial requirements of the vf-OS pilots. A new VE is developed if at least two pilots require a given functionality. Some possible requirements that can lead towards the development of VE can be the need for notification, document sharing, multi-objective process optimisation, production events mapping to 3D map, fastest route calculation, data clustering and information mining, etc. In the scope of vf-OS, it will be developed 5 VEs.
This vf-OS module is subdivided in lower-level modules:
- Configuration Enabler (CE) provides the Version Control System designed to be interoperable with Enablers Framework and it'll be used by vf-OS Enablers.
- Notification Enabler (NE) provides a notification system which follows the Enablers Framework's guide lines to be vf-OS interoperable.
- Quality Performance Evaluator Enabler (QPEE) provides a quality and performance system to be used within the data stream between the vf-os platform and its assets.
- Smart Reporting Enabler (SRE) provides to the vf-OS platform and assets a reporting system where the data can be agregated in order to create a user-friendly and easy-readable reports related to the data stream handled by the vf-OS platform.
- Dynamic Content Manager Enabler (DCME) does provides a easy and user-friendly GUI to manage documents.
Additionally, this page includes a Tickets entry to handle specific issues regarding this module as a whole (which may include management, integration, new features, etc.).
