data analysis algorithms. As a result, it triggers the appropriate monitoring process by sending notification
alarms to the corresponding actors.

<h2>Mondragon Assembly</h2>

MASS wishes to optimise their business model in relation to the maintenance process. Although the most important aspect
of maintenance is the ability to offer a fast and high-quality service, there is also the possibility to save money by
reducing costs and getting better gross margin. In addition, with a MASS advanced maintenance service, MASS customers are
able to use the productionline in a more efficient way.
</p>
<p>
The first aspect to be improved is the failure diagnostic, in terms of quality and response times, in order to reduce
engineering support operational costs and photovoltaic (PV) module manufacturing costs. This improvement can be achieved
by adoption of new communication tools for data exchange. In a near future, the integration of prediction capabilities
can provide greater advantage to these cross connected systems.</p>
<p>
In the new process model, the main communication mean will be a collaborative platform, connected to the machine, able
to notify the client that an error may occur or has already occurred. This intervention procedure grants maintenance
team an easy access to the machine, offering information about machine failures and actions applied in the past.
</p>
<p>
Another key point for MASS, in order to improve maintenance related earnings, is the efficient spare part stock management
as well as their shipping and distribution management.</p>
