<h2>SFDC</h2>

<p>
Shopfloor Data Collection - SFDC makes use of smart objects in the scope of Internet of Things oriented Manufacturing Ecosystems.
It is targeted for the Smart Factory domain but will be useful for other domains too, where collection of almost real-time data is an important aspect.
This Manufacturing enabler is based on open source projects like Fosstrak and GSN and it is provided as independent binaries to be deployed and used
independently along with source code if required. The Shop floor Data Collection is dedicated for the collection of data from the shop floor acting as
a middleware between the data producers in the shop floor and the data consumers, which are external services or applications.
</p>
<p>The Fitman Tag & Trace (FitmanT&T) functionalities are:</p>
<ul class="fa-ul mb-3">
<li> <i class="fa-li fa fa-square"></i>Identify individual products, cases, loads, assets, etc. so that they can be tracked individually</span> </li>
<li> <i class="fa-li fa fa-square"></i>Capture data about the movement of physical assets.</span> </li>
<li> <i class="fa-li fa fa-square"></i>Fetch data about traceability and tracking of tagged objects.</span> </li>
<li> <i class="fa-li fa fa-square"></i>Manage events and notifications.</span> </li>
<li> <i class="fa-li fa fa-square"></i>Exchange data with IT applications and trading partners to turn visibility into information and actions.</span> </li>
</ul>
<p>
The Fitman Sensor Networks (FitmanSN) functionalities are:
</p>

<li> <i class="fa-li fa fa-square"></i>Provide framework that runs on one or more computers composing the backbone for data acquisition from sensor network.</span> </li>
<li> <i class="fa-li fa fa-square"></i>Abstraction from implementation details of access to sensor data.</span> </li>
<li> <i class="fa-li fa fa-square"></i>Subscription management and notification to manage the registered subscriptions and provide live data to the subscribed consumers.</span> </li>
</ul>
<p>
As improved within vf-OS, the SFDC ME offers twelve APIs for FitmanT&T functionalities and two APIs for FitmanS&N functionalities. This enabler is proposed as a Docker-based package.
