Windows DLL Wrapper Extractor

Description

This module was developed in order to facilitate access to local extractors that are operating under a web service. It is working at the moment with the Windows DLL extractor developed by André Amado and its' purpose is to insert the output extraction in the context of the Extractors API.

How to get the code

git clone https://opensourceprojects.eu/git/p/timbus/context-population/extractors/windows-dll-web-wrapper-extractor

Usage

All this tool requires is a URL parameter and a Port parameter. Leaving the Port parameter blank, one can also insert the port directly in the URL.
The extractor then accesses this endpoint with the following query string parameters:

  • method:26
  • appname29:gestBarragens
  • option31:1

The parameters indicate that this wrapper was designed exclusively to access the JSON Windows DLL Extractor and capture the context of gestBarragens.
Alongside with this tool, a general Wrapper for accessing local extractors over the web was developed. See Web Wrapper Extractor for more information.
